Jazz & Blues Ensembles:

I call home Memphis, TN, and grew up playing Rhythm & Blues and Rock & Roll as well as Hayden and Hummel.   I have been on recording sessions and had the privilege of jamming with some of Memphis’ great musicians including Ma Rainey and Joyce Cobb.  The Blues comes naturally.  I have played big band, small combo jazz and blues jams in Memphis, the DC area, Des Moines, Kansas City, and Knoxville.  I now occasionally sit-in with jazz and blues bands and small combos wherever I am.  A member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, I have played periodically for services as special music and with the Brass Choir.

I hold a BFA in Sculpture & Photography from the Memphis College of Art, Memphis, TN and have studied trumpet privately at Memphis University.  I have returned to the DC area in May 2013 as Director Brand Licensing, Marketing & Creative at National Geographic, Washington, DC.

Available for ensemble and solo engagements, weddings, and special services.
